We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and efficient individual to join our midday team from September 2026 to support the safety and welfare of students during the lunch break. At Southend High School for Girls, we have high expectations and an unwavering commitment to meeting the needs of our pupils. Experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage but is not essential. The successful candidate will be required to:
- Supervise students collecting lunch from the canteen or collection points
- Supervise students in the school buildings and grounds
- Encourage social skills and good table manners
- Be able to take direction and work well as part of a team
- Assist with cleaning dining room area at the end of lunch break
