We are recruiting Bank Support Workers to work within our supported living and extra care services. As a Bank Support Worker, you will work across our Supported Living and Extra Care Schemes to provide support and care to tenants living in their own flats, helping them to maximise their independence and health and wellbeing. You will be joining a friendly supportive team, and whilst experience is desirable, even if you are new to care, you will be provided with full training to help you succeed in the role.

The responsibilities of a Bank Support Worker include, but are not limited to:

  • Personal care and moving and positioning
  • General household duties including laundry
  • Promoting and administering medication
  • Shopping
  • Preparing and cooking meals
  • Undertaking craft activities and games with tenants
  • Supporting and assisting tenants with accessing the community, including shopping and leisure activities such as cinema trips
