Location: Office base in Brighton with travel across East and West Sussex.

Salary: £26,587 per year (Based on 37 hours per week)

Hours: Minimum of 30 to a maximum of 37 hours per week available

What you’ll be doing: The Housing Assistant, Supported Living will take responsibility for the property maintenance aspects of our housing management function as well as having an input into a variety of low-level tenancy management issues. You will be working with the Housing Officer, Supported Living and will have a joint responsibility for ensuring all housing management duties and responsibilities across the Supported Living Services are met. You will also work in partnership with the support teams in the Supported Living Services and visit tenants in their homes across East and West Sussex. We’re looking for an organised and customer-focused individual, who will make a positive difference to Southdown’s tenants. We welcome applications from candidates with previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities or in roles such as Housing Officer, Supported Housing Assistant, Accommodation Assistant, Tenant Support Officer, Customer Service Advisor, Customer Service Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or people with transferable skills looking for a positive change. However, this is not essential and full training will be provided.
