Responsibilities
- Provide primary care including consultations and surgery (50% consults, 50% surgery)
- Attend Saturday rota 1:6 (mornings) and may be required to sole charge at weekends (Saturday mornings)
- Handle routine and emergency surgery, medical work-ups, and inpatient care
- Process OOH consultations and member practice case transfers
- No out-of-hours or on-call requirements, ensuring work life balance
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience as a small animal veterinarian
- RCVS & VDS fees covered
- Strong medical knowledge with experience in routine and emergency surgery
- Excellent communication skills and client service ability
- Confidence in taking lead on surgical and medical cases and diagnostic investigations
