Are you passionate about making pets a priority? Here at CVS, so are we! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Selsdon, Warlingham and Avenue Road Vets (mainly based at Avenue Road but will be expected to work across all 3).
Contract: Fixed Term Contract - maternity cover until May
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 8-5pm or 10:30-7:30pm
About the role
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- Providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What we’re looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist
- Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
