Role Details
- Location: To be based at our Willesley site - Byams Farm, Willesley, Tetbury, Gloucestershire, GL8 8QU
- Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract. Starting in April 2026 to September 2026
- Hours: We have 2 positions available: 40 hours per week and 20 hours per week – let us know your preference in your application
- Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, with a 1:3 share in the weekend and evening rota
About the Role
- Mucking out/Grooming, general yard duties
- Setting up of equipment and assisting vets in all stud duties
- General care of all horses on site, including our resident stallions
- All equipment cleaning and ensuring the correct equipment is ready for stud procedures
Who We’re Looking For
- Yard or equine experience essential
- Preferably some experience of handling youngstock and stallions, or willing to be trained
- Flexibility and commitment
- Ability to handle heavy equipment
- Full clean driving license
- Time management and a good team player
