Practice Type: First Opinion Small Animal, 24-hour Hospital
Competitive Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 depending on experience
Contract:Permanent | 40 hours across 4 days with 1 in 6 Saturdays / Sundays (Weekend work) with a share of bank holidays - we're happy to discuss working patterns, so let us know what you are looking for!

Life at RVG Stevenage (Great Ashby)
Great Ashby Vets is a busy, first opinion, 24-hour Hospital with a passionate team of vets, nurses, VCAs, and receptionists. Our facilities include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, lap spay equipment, multiparameters, and ultrasound, along with a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon who visits the practice for orthopaedic procedures, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care.
The practice benefits from a fantastic residential location, making it highly accessible. Surrounded by strong community and nearby green spaces, the practice enjoys as a loyal client base, creating a consistent and rewarding caseload. No two days at Great Ashby are ever the same, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and providing clinical support for a team of Veterinary Care Assistants and Student Veterinary Nurses
- Conducting 1-2-1s and appraisals
- Delivering inpatient care and running nurse clinics / consults.
- Championing continuous improvement across the practice and promoting the highest standard of animal care.
About you
We\'re looking for a dedicated Clinical RegisteredLead VeterinaryNurseto join ourStevenageteam. Our ideal candidate will be a minimum of 2 years qualified.Leadership experience is desirable. Youwill:
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional careto both ourpatients and their owners every day.
- Support the outcome of patients carein all aspects of clinical workas part of the team.
- Ensure Quality ismaintainedby keeping our practice in excellent condition- ensuring quality of care and the best possible outcomes for every patient
