Seadown Veterinary Hospital is looking to expand our Veterinary Nurse team at our hospital on the edge of the New Forest National Park, Hampshire. We are an RCVS accredited Small Animal Hospital and Equine Clinic, with a large experienced and friendly team. Our commitment to our team and their career development means that further study is actively supported, encouraged and funded.

The practice provides small animal referral services in ophthalmology and orthopaedics and is well equipped with DR x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasounds, therapeutic laser, ventilator, endoscopic, and laparoscopic facilities along with multi-parameter monitors and an in-house laboratory. The practice has its own out of hours service providing 24/7 emergency veterinary care for all its own clients.

At Seadown Vets, we encourage flexible working and our Head Nurses are happy to discuss hours that might work best for you; we can consider full and part-time applications. We are passionate about the team pursuing areas of interest, whether that be ECC, theatre, running nurse clinics, schedule 3 procedures, or inpatient care.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent veterinary care to a variety of patients across our site.
  • Delivering consults and nurse clinics.
  • Preparing for and assisting in surgeries.
  • Working alongside an experienced nursing team and certificate holders.
