As the Lead Veterinary Nurse, you will assist with the daily operations, lead a dedicated team of RVNs, SVNs, and PCAs, inspiring them to reach their career goals while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture across the practice.
Life at Animed Veterinary Hospital: Animed Veterinary Hospital is a Small Animal practice with a passionate team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists. This is a unique chance to step into a well-established practice with state-of-the-art facilities, including:
- A dedicated orthopaedic theatre
- Two fully equipped soft tissue theatres (both with laparoscopic equipment)
- A double dental suite
- A dedicated imaging suite
- Separate wards for dogs, cats, and exotic pets
Our team is close-knit, supportive, and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge across multiple disciplines. You'll be part of a team of 16 day vets & 3 night vets, which include cert holders in Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology, Medicine, Endoscopy & Endo surgery. We also have 34 clinical, 18 reception & 5 admin staff as part of our wide team, so plenty of people to call on for support.
About You: We are looking for someone reliable and ambitious with excellent communication, patient and client care standards, that has great attention to detail. This role would suit an RVN who is ready to take a step up in responsibility or an experienced Senior/Lead or Head Nurse looking for a better work/life balance. It is ideal for someone with a passion for developing clinical and personal development individually and for the team.
