Are you passionate about making pets a priority? Here at CVS, so are we! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Fromus, Eagle & Castle Veterinary practices.
Location: Split role between Halesworth/Saxmundham/Framlingham
Contract: Permanent contract
Hours: 40 hours
Shift Pattern: Shift pattern to cover between the hours of 8am and 7pm with 8am-4pm cover required for 1 in 4 Saturdays.
About the role
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- Providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What we’re looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist
- Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
