Severn Edge Vets are looking for a qualified Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated team of care providers. This is a permanent role working 31.38 hours a week across 4 days with a share in the 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota. The role would involve working across both of our sites in Craven Arms and Ludlow, allowing you to build up your own varied caseload.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about providing high-quality care, improving standards, and working as a supportive member of the team. We have recently launched “CVS Nursing Career Pathway” with the aim of demonstrating clear career progression for nurses across first opinion, referral and equine practices. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients
- Running Nurse consults & clinics
- Assisting Vets during surgery
- Scheduling 3 procedures
- Covering Reception, booking appointments, and answering client queries
- Monitoring and supporting with anaesthesia during surgery
- Preparing theatres and equipment for surgery

We are able to offer you a salary of £27,000 to £33,000 FTE depending on experience and up to 5.5 weeks annual leave.
