Are you passionate about animal health and welfare and providing exceptional client care? Here at CVS, we are! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for farm animals to join our Farm Practice Administration team at Castle Farm Vets.
Location: To be based across our Malton and Selby sites
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 32 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday with a share in the Weekend rota when needed
About the Role
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
- Covering Reception, including answering phones, booking appointments and undertaking all other Reception duties
- Administrative and secretarial support, including diary management
- Assist with general queries and requests into central email inboxes, taking ownership of tasks from start to finish, liaising with the requestor and keeping them informed
- Maintenance of relevant electronic files
- Undertake, or provide assistance on projects
- Cleaning tasks
- Maintaining the practice as part of a team to a high standard
What we’re looking for in our Practice Administrator
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to use positive language
- Co‑operative and solution‑focused, in addition to a strong customer and team focus
- Demonstrate a high level of organisation & time management skills, particularly in an environment with multiple, and sometimes conflicting priorities
- Demonstrated ability to handle information of a sensitive nature and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Strong administrative experience
- Previous experience in veterinary healthcare or a services‑oriented environment would be advantageous
