Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital are looking for a day Veterinary Surgeon to join their existing highly experienced team of Vets and RVNs. You will get to work with an enthusiastic, forward-thinking team in a supportive and collaborative environment. We enjoy a varied caseload with a mix of surgical, consulting shifts and inpatient care.
You will have the chance to work alongside certificate holders, a large and talented nursing team, and skilled administrative support. There is also the opportunity to mentor and support junior vets, sharing your knowledge and passion for high standards of care. We are a Tier 3 accredited Hospital in Maidstone, Kent, who provide only the highest standards of care to our patients.
Our practice is fantastically well equipped with all the usual tech, tools and toys that we need to do high quality clinical work. Our team is made up of 21 fantastic veterinary surgeons, all with varying interests and skills, meaning we see a large range of interesting cases. Our nursing team is 40 strong and is encouraged to pursue their own interests and professional development. We have a great support team and practice manager who work hard to ensure the practice runs smoothly.
Rota 30 - 40 hours a week, flexible. We are based in Maidstone and commutable from Chatham, Rainham, Sittingbourne, Faversham, Tonbridge, Marden, Staplehurst, Headcorn, Ashford, Sevenoaks, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Paddock Wood, Canterbury, Orpington, Gravesend and other locations in South London and Kent.
