Location: Gosport/Stubbington

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 29 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 2 x 10 hour, 1 x 7 hour, 1 in 4 Saturday

About the Role

  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications
  • Taking payments
  • Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice

Qualifications

  • Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus
  • Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
  • Excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
  • A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
