Full Time (40 hours per week) Frome Equine Vets – Frome, Somerset Frome Equine Vets are looking for an organised, motivated and friendly Veterinary Technician / Nurse with an administrative focus to join our busy equine practice. This is a varied and rewarding role combining clinical support with essential administrative duties, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a close‑knit team and taking pride in keeping a practice running smoothly.

The Role

  • Supporting our vets with day‑to‑day clinical tasks
  • Assisting with stock control, medicines and equipment management
  • Handling client communications, bookings and enquiries
  • General administrative duties including record keeping, invoicing support and compliance insurance claims.
  • Supporting the practice manager with operational tasks as required

About You

  • Has experience as a veterinary technician, veterinary nurse or in a similar role (equine experience preferred but not essential)
  • Is well organised with strong attention to detail
  • Is confident using computer systems and comfortable with administration
  • Has a friendly and professional communication style
  • Enjoys teamwork but can also work independently
  • Is reliable, flexible and keen to learn
