White Lodge Veterinary Surgery, based in an area of outstanding natural beauty with the coast on our doorstep, has an exciting opportunity for an RVN to join our team. You will be an important member of our clinical team, with a commitment to promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement and clinical excellence.

Our practice prides itself on being a part of the local community and is staffed by a friendly, vibrant team. We are an RCVS training practice and have six RVNs, one student veterinary nurse and two patient care assistants. We invest in our team and encourage our colleagues to pursue their professional interests so that everyone has the opportunity to develop their career.

Duties will include a mixed shift pattern, starting from 8am and finishing any time up until 6:30pm, giving plenty of variety in the role. Duties will include supporting the head nurse with day‐to‐day running of the clinical areas, kennels shifts (inpatients and post‐operative patients), operating days, and consulting. We prefer to play to people’s strengths (whether that is operating, consulting, in‐patient care or anything else!) and although the role is varied, nurses are encouraged to pursue areas of particular interest. There are always opportunities to take on areas of responsibility if desired. This is a full‐time role (40 hours a week) covering maternity – starting January 2026 until December 2026. Part‐time hours would be considered. There are no OOH duties. There is currently a 1 in 6 rota for Saturday mornings till 1pm.
