Role Overview

The Logistics Administrator is responsible for providing efficient administrative support to logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate management of documentation, data, and communication processes. The role plays a key part in supporting the logistics team by maintaining up-to-date records, monitoring dispatches, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with the senior logistics managers, the Logistics Administrator helps ensure operations run smoothly, deadlines are met, and service standards are maintained. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Hours Available

40 hours per week: Monday to Friday with weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy, organisation, and timely completion
  • Maintain and improve systems, processes, and filing (digital and physical)
  • Prepare and process logistics documentation (e.g. delivery notes, invoices, customs paperwork)
  • Provide administrative support to warehouse and logistics operations
  • Liaise with couriers and internal stakeholders, resolving dispatch and delivery queries end to end
  • Support stock control activities, including stock checks and reporting
  • Produce logistics performance reports and support operational reporting requirements
  • Maintain system data (e.g. JDA) and records relating to incidents, safety, and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, GDP regulations, and health & safety standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote high-quality process compliance
  • Assist with training administration and documentation where required
  • Provide operational support across Pick, Pack & Dispatch when needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with warehouse or ERP/WMS systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, JDA)
  • Background in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations
  • Understanding of stock control, inventory processes, and warehouse best practices
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail with strong accuracy and numerical ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making capability
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Proactive, team-oriented, with the ability to work independently
  • Awareness of health & safety and compliance standards
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
