Join Our Team at CVS Veterinary Group! Are you a Receptionist with exceptional administrative skills? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dynamic and professional team at our Head Office in Diss.
Role Details:
- Location: To be based at our Head Office – CVS House, Owen Road, Diss, Norfolk, IP22 4ER
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 20 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, working 13:30-17:30, with the flexibility to cover annual leave, absence and busy periods

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome Visitors: Provide a friendly, professional first impression
- Mail Management: Sort and distribute incoming post and parcels across our three support office buildings
- Travel Coordination: Arrange travel and accommodation for colleagues
- Meeting Facilitation: Coordinate all aspects of meeting room management, from booking to turnover, ensuring a clean and functional environment for participants
- Communications: Answer calls and manage general enquiries professionally
- Email Management: Monitor central inboxes, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
- Administrative Support: Maintain electronic files and assist other departments as needed
- Inventory Management: Ensure adequate supplies are available for colleagues
- Record Keeping: Assist with the management and storage of files and records
Who We're Looking For: The ideal candidate should have:
- Recent experience in a Receptionist or Administrative role
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly and approachable, with a positive, 'can-do' attitude
- Strong administrative capabilities and time management
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and be both proactive and reactive
