We are seeking a veterinary surgeon to work alongside our amazing team at MiNight Vet Chester Wirral, working a share of weekend daytime hours. MiNight Vet Chester Wirral provides 24-hour care for our first opinion member practices, including the care and treatment of MiNight Vet inpatients. We are based at Chestergates Veterinary Specialists in Chester; a fully equipped RCVS approved Veterinary referral hospital.
You would work alongside our talented, friendly, caring team of vets, nurses, VCAs and receptionists who will make you feel very welcome and supported. Being located within the referral hospital means we have access to a fantastic support network to help further clinical development, as well as access to additional equipment and medications.
This position would suit an experienced small animal vet, preferably with a minimum of 2+ years' experience. The role involves primary care OOH consultations, receiving member practice case transfers, inpatient care, medical work ups and surgery. A strong medical knowledge is required and experience in routine and emergency surgery. You will possess good communication skills and have a passion to deliver excellent care and client service.
