See what our Anaesthesia nurses have to say:
“I joined the team as a flexi RVN and never imagined how much my career would grow here. Over the past five years, I discovered my passion for anaesthesia and was supported every step of the way to develop my skills. With the encouragement and opportunities provided, I went on to complete my Certificate in Anaesthesia through improve international. This workplace has played a huge role in shaping my career, and I’m proud to be part of a team that genuinely invests in its staff.” – Beth W, Anaesthesia Team Lead RVN
“As Head Nurse here at Lumbry Park I oversee the Anaesthesia, Imaging and Theatre team. I love to see how hard everyone works to provide the best patient care. Anaesthesia is my passion, especially complex soft tissue and neurology cases. When I started at Lumbry, I joined as a flexi nurse before joining the anaesthesia team. After being at Lumbry 6 months I then went on to complete an NCert in Anaesthesia and Analgesia, with this I have then attended conferences in London and Paris. Everyday here at Lumbry I learn something new from my colleagues, and they have all helped shape me into the nurse I am today.” – Ellen, Head Nurse Anaesthesia RVN
“Transitioning into referral from first opinion practice was a smooth process thanks to the welcoming team and induction process. After nearly two years at Lumbry Park, I have developed new skills, feel empowered to take on the more challenging cases, and now halfway through an NCert in Anaesthesia and Analgesia. From sedations to the more complex surgeries, every day is different. On the hectic days for everyone in the team, we all pull together when needed. We are able to utilise our nursing skills more and find my role very rewarding, I have not looked back since.” – Martina Cambruzzi, Specialist in Anaesthesia and Analgesia
