We're growing! Join our team as an Oncology Clinical Lead to support our expanding Oncology service. As part of our Oncology team, you will be heavily involved with our patients' journeys, from admit to discharge and everything in-between. Our specialist equipment including 160 slice CT scanner, MRI scanner, C arm fluoroscopy unit, minimal invasive surgical equipment and state of the art theatres provides us with the scope to offer a multitude of treatments for our patients under our oncology service.
What you'll do:
- Support the Oncology team with the support of the Outpatients Team Leader and a Head Nurse
- Deliver high standards of patient care throughout the patients' oncology journey
- Assisting with oncology examinations and staging procedures
- Administer chemotherapy safely and effectively
- Support patients through sedations and anaesthesia for advanced diagnostics
- Work closely with our clinicians to develop our Standard Operational Procedures to ensure seamless treatment for our patients.
What we're looking for:
- A qualified RVN with experience working within Oncology
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Leadership experience (not essential but would be preferable)
- Ability to be supportive and collaborative within a team
