We are searching for a talented Pharmacy Tech II-Inventory Clerk

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day/Evening shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm, 7:30am – 4:00pm, 9:30am – 6:00pm, 12:30pm – 9:00pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician /Inventory Clerk performs pharmacy-related functions, in compliance with departmental policies and procedures that provide optimal pharmaceutical care. The Pharmacy Technician/Inventory Clerk performs functions to monitor and maintain inventory for the Pharmacy site including but not limited to ordering, receiving, 340B and payment processes, collecting data, generating and reviewing reports and maintaining files.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or the equivalent is required.
  • Additional clinical course work or training is preferred.
  • Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification is required within 18 months of hire.
  • One year of related work experience is required; three years is preferred.
  • Pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, ordering, receiving, 340B and payment processes preferred.
  • A valid drivers license is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Pay Range

USD $20.40 – USD $27.79 /Hr. #J-18808-Ljbffr
