We are searching for a talented MRI Technologist. $10,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. Must be registered in MRI at time of hire. Rehires termed greater than 1 year also eligible.
Hours: 24 flex 40hrs
Shift: Day/Evening shift, 7:00am - 3:30pm, 9:30am - 6:00pm with every fourth weekend, holiday and on call rotation
Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

Responsibilities:
- Position reports to the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee.
- Perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within radiography and MR as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
- Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request.
- Obtain pertinent information from patients chart and document all data within the EHR.
- Educate patient for exam.
- Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies.
- Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure.
- Select technical factors/parameters/sequences to produce quality images.
- Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality.
- Apply the principles of MR safety to minimize risk to patient, self and others and aware of the principles of ALARA.
- Assist physicians in performing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Radiation Therapy and attainment of post-primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) - OR - the successful completion of an accredited program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and attainment of primary certification from the ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay Range: USD $36.72 - USD $53.39 /Hr.
Rotation Schedule Requirement: Every Fourth Weekend
