The European Marketing Department plays a key role in defining the business strategy across the European region and shaping the global marketing direction of the company. It works closely with the sales team to identify focus industries and growth markets and to develop and implement marketing strategies to drive growth. The Marketing Department is also responsible for communication and engagement with customers and prospect customers at all stages of their journey and across different sales channels (direct & distribution). By using various digital tools and media, lead generation is key while guarding the consistent representation and usage of the Southco brand.

We are looking for a talented and versatile individual to sit at the heart of our UK-based content hub. The role focuses on day-to-day content production to be used in public relations, email campaigns, social media, website copy, digital advertising and corporate communications. You will play a key role in populating content for our website re-platforming project. If you are a skilled copywriter who thrives on variety, can switch between channels without missing a beat, and loves being part of a fast-moving global team, we want to hear from you.

Is this a role for you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of copywriting or content writing experience, with a portfolio demonstrating strong short-form digital content
  • Proven experience writing for email, social media and digital advertising
  • Strong grasp of brand voice, messaging frameworks and editorial standards
  • Able to manage multiple briefs simultaneously and deliver quality work under tight deadlines
  • Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively across a global, cross-functional team
  • Familiarity with DXP, CMS or web content management platforms
  • Experience in B2B marketing or a manufacturing/engineering environment
