The successful candidate will be required to:
- Design and Manufacture: Create jigs, fixtures, tools, electrodes and prototype tooling using toolroom machinery to design and program operations.
- CAD/CAM Expertise: Utilize CAM toolpath generation, and CNC programming to ensure efficient and accurate machining.
- Machinery Operation: Operate all standard toolroom equipment, EDM and CNC machinery, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
- Injection Mould Tooling: Perform all aspects of plastic injection mould tool requirements, including maintenance, repair, and modifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with other departments on project work to optimize resources and meet project timelines.
- Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the toolroom and other functional departments.
