This is a field-based position, traveling at least 3-4 days a week, located in the North, ideally close to the existing customer base, but with broader responsibility for developing assigned accounts across England and Wales.

You will manage extensive business relationships with customers at all levels of the supply chain to further drive our growth and profitability. Focusing on key growth markets, you will use your technical, commercial, and sales knowledge to sell our product offerings to existing and new businesses.

You will look for opportunities in different industries, prospect for new business, be familiar with working with customers to develop technical, engineered solutions, and solve problems, contributing to our ambitious growth targets.

The role sits within our Core Industries business unit and is responsible for the growth of key markets including rail, industrial equipment, healthcare, truck, and renewable technologies. This division supports around half of Southco’s global business, with many complex products, challenging projects, and a strong customer base. These markets are vital within the UK, and we currently have many premium and \”blue chip\” companies and supporting supply chains as key customers.
