The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
The European Marketing Department plays a key role in defining the business strategy across the European region, working closely with the sales team to identify focus industries and growth markets and to develop and implement marketing strategies to drive growth. The Marketing Department is also responsible for the communication and engagement with customers and prospect customers at all stages of their journey and across the different sales channels (direct & distribution). By using various digital tools and media, lead generation is key, whilst, at the same time, guarding the consistent representation and usage of the Southco brand.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Europe, this is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with valid experience in the areas of PR, industry & channel marketing.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Management of public relations, including driving the development of new content.
- Ensuring year-over-year growth in number of placements.
- Managing the lead generation and follow-up process through paid PR.
- Tactical implementation of the European marketing plan, including helping to drive greater involvement of Southco’s channel distribution partners in marketing.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ work experience in a marketing or sales role with degree and/or equivalent marketing qualification.
- Experience in PR administration & management preferred.
- Understanding of and experience in creating customer value.
- Additional European language desirable.
- Ability to build and develop strong business relationships.
- Ability to work as part of a talented team and on own initiative.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast paced, pressured environment.
