We are looking to appoint a part‐time class teacher from September 2026 to teach a Reception class. This maternity cover role will run for the full school year. The working days are Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, which are fixed. The position is suitable for experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECTs) with experience in EYFS in a school setting.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a full Reception class during the school year, deliver the EYFS curriculum, and support student learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with the Trust's central team, specialist support staff (EYFS, SEND, phonics) and participate in shared planning for the Trust wide curriculum.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching in EYFS, either as an experienced teacher or as an ECT.
  • Access to UE, training support and professional development as outlined in the school's induction programme.
  • Supports are available for ECTs through a dedicated mentor and training programme, and for experienced teachers through subject‐specific training, NPQ access and professional coaching.
