People Officer
We are currently looking for a People Officer to join our People & Culture team on a full-time permanent contract. The successful candidate will support the Head of People Operations by providing operational excellence and best practice across all day‑to‑day touchpoints of the employee lifecycle. The People Officer will play a key role in resourcing and onboarding responsibilities across teams, which will include uploading new job adverts to external sites, liaising with candidates throughout the recruitment process from booking interviews to notifying candidates of decisions. In addition, the role will support the People Partnering and Culture teams as required, as well as monitoring and responding to emails from the People Team inbox.

The annual salary stated is based on the Full‑Time Equivalent (40 hours per week). If the job is part‑time, the weekly hours will be stated within the advert.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the recruitment process from end to end, including setting up interview slots, liaising with candidates and hiring managers while working closely with the People Partners and Head of Culture, to ensure inclusive hiring practices are maintained at each stage and that reasonable adjustments are communicated accordingly.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for all new starters to ensure an excellent experience, including sending new starter Occupational Health questionnaires, setting them up on the HR system and ensuring that all HR data is captured.
- Provide administration for the Employee Life Cycle, from recruitment to exit.
- Process family‑friendly requests, which might include meeting with employees where required.
- Ensure the payroll administration and the HR system are up to date for the monthly payroll processing, liaising with the People Partnering and Payroll teams.
Skills & Experience
- Experience of working in a HR team, at an officer/coordinator level.
- Experience of supporting a high volume of recruitment from the end to end process.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience of working with HR Information and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- A skilled multi‑tasker, able to prioritise tasks efficiently, manage expectations in a professional manner and deliver on time across a broad range of requests.
