We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team on a full time permanent contract, offering a salary of up to £60,000 per annum. Our mission is to ensure effective financial and risk management of Southbank Centre and be acknowledged as a key partner in achieving its aims and objectives.
Our vision is to:
- Provide accurate, reliable and timely information so that departments manage and administer their budgets with independence and accountability; future plans and strategy are fit for purpose and risks are understood, managed and mitigated.
- Create efficient, effective and appropriate procedures to protect the assets of the company and ensure compliance with Southbank Centre policies and other legislative requirements.
- Collaborate as a partner throughout the company on all aspects of our business that require financial input and expertise.
- Work as a team and develop each team member to the maximum so we are collectively and individually brilliant.
- At all times align our objectives with those of Southbank Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll operations management (ensure in house changes are captured and actioned by external provider)
- Financial statements preparation in line with Charity SORP format
- Cultural Tax credit lead on accounting and claims
- Finance system administration (Microsoft Business Central)
- Support to payroll and capital expenditure budget management with ownership of the fixed asset register
Skills & Experience:
- Payroll operations management
- Statutory accounts preparation in SORP format
- Tax credit claims
- Financial accounting qualification and balance sheet ownership
- Systems management and process controls
