Description
We are currently looking for a Deputy Production Manager to join our Production team on a permanent full time contract.
The Southbank Centre Production team looks after all the technical needs for all the events that are on our site.
This role requires building in-depth knowledge of Southbank Centre\’s infrastructure and inventory, as well as maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role will closely work with Programming, Producing and Production teams to coordinate the production planning process.

Key Responsibilities
- To compile the monthly production schedule (rota) with assistance from the Head of Production.
- Work with Programming, Producing and Production teams to deliver Southbank productions to a high standard.
- Work with the Production Management team to establish production processes.
- Work with Programming, Producing and teams to co-ordinate the production planning process – administer production meetings and debriefs, prepare schedules, respond to requests for information, and liaise with internal departments and third party suppliers.
- Write Risk Assessments and Method Statements for production ensuring that Southbank Centre Health and Safety policies and house rules, CDM and licensing requirements are adhered to at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Experience of Google sheets / staff rota systems.
- Experience of working in production for music or performing arts events.
- Proven ability to deliver multiple projects to specific deadlines.
- Demonstrable administration skills – organising, communicating and keeping accurate records Understanding of technical elements such as lighting, sound, AV, automation.
