We are currently looking for an Assistant Curator Site Design to join our Visual Arts team on a full-time permanent contract. This role forms part of a team of four posts working on site design within the wider visual arts teams at Southbank Centre. Site Design work closely with The Hayward Gallery and other teams across the Southbank Centre. The team’s key focus involves curating projects and installation across the site reflective of Southbank Centre and Hayward's programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and management of exhibition projects reporting to a member of the exhibitions team.
- Contribute to the commissioning and management of external contractors including artists, architects, curators, designers, fabricators etc.
- Timeline management of Site Design projects.
- Feed into artistic programme for Site Design.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale art or architectural design projects for public spaces.
- Experience in exhibition organization and working closely with artists and curators.
- Exceptional organizational, research, and methodical skills with strong attention to detail.
