We are currently looking for an Acquisitions Coordinator to join our Arts Council Collection team on a 24 hour per week part time fixed term contract until 31 December 2026. The Acquisitions Coordinator supports the effective delivery of the Arts Council Collection’s acquisitions programme. The role coordinates acquisition proposals from research and governance through to documentation, finance processing and public dissemination. Acting as a key liaison across curatorial, collections, finance and external stakeholders as well as with artists and galleries, the postholder ensures accurate record-keeping, smooth committee processes, strong financial oversight and high-quality communication.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in arts, museum, gallery or cultural sector administration
  • Well-organised with demonstrable time management skills and ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrable written communication and minute-taking skills
  • Financial administration experience, including processing invoices and tracking budgets with accuracy
  • Demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders
