Home Instead South Molton is looking for caring individuals to join our team as Care Professionals. Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage in stimulating activities with clients.
- Assist with light household duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and provide support with eating, as required.
- Prompt and assist clients with their medication in accordance with care plans.
- Support clients with personal care routines, including washing, dressing, and grooming, whilst promoting dignity and independence.
- Accompany clients on social outings, appointments, and assist with shopping, facilitating community engagement.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, ensuring clear communication within the care team.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for caring for others and a commitment to making a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle (essential for community‑based roles).
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided.
- Availability would ideally need to include Wednesdays and every other weekend.
