Responsibilities

  • Provide invaluable companionship, engage in activities, and offer emotional support to clients, fostering trust and well-being.
  • Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, always maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Support clients with medication reminders and management, ensuring their health and safety.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light household duties, maintaining a comfortable and clean living environment.
  • Facilitate community engagement by accompanying clients on errands, appointments, and social outings.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of care provided, communicating effectively with the office team and client families where appropriate.
  • Commit to working every other weekend as part of a flexible and supportive rota.

Requirements

  • Available to work between 7am to 2pm OR 2pm to 9.30pm.
  • A naturally empathetic, patient, and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong, trusting relationships.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic, understanding the importance of consistent care.
  • The legal right to work in the UK.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are highly desirable due to the nature of the role and client locations in Northampton and surrounding areas.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
