To project manage and co-ordinate delivery of the Southampton Place Partnership work. This role is employed by Southampton Voluntary Services and forms part of a wider place-based partnership funded through Sport England and delivered in collaboration with Energise Me. The postholder will play a key role in connecting local communities, partners and organisations across Southampton to help reduce inequalities and increase opportunities for people to be physically active and improve their health and wellbeing.

Through this role, you will help shape healthier, more connected communities across Southampton. Working with local partners, the Place Partnership Board and Place Lead, you’ll coordinate and deliver impactful projects that create lasting change in priority neighbourhoods across Southampton. This role combines relationship-building, programme delivery and budget management to help drive the success of the Southampton Place Partnership.

ROLE DIMENSIONS

  • Understand our communities, connect with people and enable change.
  • Work with the Southampton Place Partnership Board, Place Lead and local partners to co-ordinate and evaluate the Southampton Place Partnership in line with Sport England requirements.
  • Co-ordinate, manage and monitor the delivery plan.
  • Build relationships within Southampton Place Partnership priority places.
