What is the role?

In this role you will lead the high-quality delivery and review of our talent development methodology for identified player profiles across the group, inclusive of on-pitch coaching, analysis and mentoring players specifically to their individual development plans. You will work with Talent+, loan and international youth players aged 16-21 across the group.

What will you be doing?

You will be leading the delivery and evaluation of player profile-specific programmes, ensuring all identified Talent+ players have a robust Individual Development Plans with clearly defined and agreed KPIs and actions which remain at the centre of all interdisciplinary planning and delivery. Producing individualised video clips and data will aid in helping players meet their targets by providing clear and consistent feedback.

Leading and supporting a scheduled programme of on-pitch coaching delivery across the groups U16s-21s, you will align and enhance the consistent, high-quality delivery of the talent development methodology and group talent strategy objectives.

You will regularly attend games (U16-21s and First Team) to enhance the tracking and benchmarking of identified high-potential players in our talent pipeline, using findings to contribute to Group Talent Strategy Meetings.

Supporting the planning and delivery of training sessions (and games where appropriate) of the U16-21s as well as the International Academy Programme you will work in collaboration with coaches across all areas of the club as well as supporting the Head of Group Talent Management with monitoring and mentoring international players and those on loan, providing weekly overviews and in depth monthly updates to report on current form.

Is this you?

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to demonstrate strong technical and tactical football knowledge. You are confident in building strong professional relationships with players, staff and external stakeholders.

Please Note – You must be willing to spend approximately 30% of your working time with other Sport Republic clubs (abroad)

Essential Skills and Experience

UEFA A Licence and/or FA Advanced Youth Award

Minimum two years experience working with U16 – U21s players.

Minimum two years coaching experience within Academy or International Youth programme at Under 16s – 21s age groups

Desirable Skills and Experience

Fluent in both English and French

Leadership experience within Academy or relevant environment
