What is the role?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Editorial Content Producer to join our Football Content team to assist with coverage of our Academy teams. You will write match reports for the club\’s website and app, as well as supporting on any required additional written content such as post-match reaction and potentially output on our social media channels. The role may also involve occasional interview of coaches or players after matches.

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of football with excellent writing skills, good time-management and attention to detail with the ability to produce clear and accurate copy to a deadline.

Experience of writing and ideally producing match reports from sporting events would be highly beneficial. This role would likely suit someone who possesses a relevant media qualification or is in the process of completing one and is looking to get experience.

As you will be covering matches, availability at weekends would be desirable and potentially some evening work will be involved.
