What is the role?
As a casual Academy Cover Coach, you will support the development of academy players in accordance with our Academy Performance Plan.
You will fully engage in Multidisciplinary Team discussions that inform player reviews and player audits, including completing relevant administration tasks such as PMA (Performance Management Application) activities, as outlined in the PMA expectations document.
You will provide all players and trialists with appropriate playing opportunities, in consultation with the Head of Phase and Age Group Coaches. You will also give regular written and verbal feedback to the Academy and Recruitment Department on trialist progress, ensuring the completion of player evaluation forms at mid-point and end of trial, and engage with parents professionally and empathetically.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience coaching within an elite football development system (Cat 1/Cat 2 Academy or equivalent)
- Track record of identifying and developing talent
- FA Youth Modules
- Hold or working towards UEFA B Licence
- FA Safeguarding
- Emergency First Aid Award
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Hold or working towards FA Advanced Youth Award
- Academic qualification in coaching science, coaching practice, or equivalent
