Role overview:
- Responsibility for a defined cluster of academy clubs across the South / South Coast
- Live scouting approximately 3 fixtures per week, alongside regular video-based scouting
- Identification of players with high long-term potential, not just current match-day performance
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with clubs, coaches, and internal recruitment staff
- Producing clear, detailed and objective reports aligned to the club’s player identification framework
- Supporting long-term squad planning, recruitment and release cycles
What we’re looking for:
- Strong understanding of the U13–U16 academy landscape and EPPP environment
- Proven ability to identify transferable skills, physical upside and development potential within academy players
- Excellent knowledge of academy football across the South / South Coast region
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a coordinated national recruitment strategy
- Highly organised, reliable and comfortable using digital scouting and reporting tools
- Flexible availability to cover evenings, weekends and regional travel
