Saints Foundation bring Southampton FC to the heart of the community, using the power of the club and our passionate team to help fulfil individual potential and make Southampton a better place to live for all.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be working closely with SO14 Active Coordinator and will be responsible for coaching sessions to increase activity levels of adults in the SO14 area, by providing physical activities that suit the community need.

Is this you?

Energetic, motivating and love to be creative in your delivery sessions. You know how to keep people engaged and having fun! Ideally you have worked in a similar role and have a passion for giving back to the local community.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience of working with community groups.

  • Experience of, planning and delivering engaging activity sessions to a varied audience.

  • An understanding of safeguarding sporting activities.

  • Experience of managing challenging behaviours in group settings.

Essential Qualifications:

  • FA Introduction to Football coaching qualification (formerly FA Level 1 coaching) or equivalent qualification

  • Introduction to First Aid in Football

  • FA Safeguarding Children in Football

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact with diverse groups.

  • Ability to build a strong rapport with colleagues and participants with varying needs.

  • Confident of delivering a range of activities

  • Able to manage a group

  • A flexible approach to working hours to include evening and weekend work.

  • A strong awareness and commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
