Duties
- Support in providing initial advice and guidance prior to enrolment regarding your specialist sector
- Assist in onboarding learners during the enrolment stage
- Deliver comprehensive learner induction
- Support the design of new and existing programmes
- Review and develop learning resources for your programmes
- Deliver theory and practical training at college sites or via blended modes
- Conduct learner workplace visits for observations, assessments, and progress reviews
- Track and monitor the progress of main programmes on relevant systems
- Coach, advise, and guide learners to develop mindset, qualities, willpower, and positive habits, emphasizing the importance of practice for success in the workplace
- Challenge learners to exceed expectations and become ambitious in their careers
- Deliver training aligned with qualification specifications
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with employers and organizations
- Ensure learners engage with Cognassist for ALS requirements
- Provide timely, constructive, and evaluative feedback to learners, including softer skills (e.g., time management, organization)
- Carry out internal quality assurance activities (if qualified)
- Report on student progress at termly RAG meetings
Skills and Experience
- Highly motivated professional with industry experience and knowledge
- Proficient with IT tools (ECDL or equivalent level)
Qualifications
- Minimum GCSE Grade 4 / C or equivalent Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English
- Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds craft/advanced craft in relevant subject
