Duties

  • Support in providing initial advice and guidance prior to enrolment regarding your specialist sector
  • Assist in onboarding learners during the enrolment stage
  • Deliver comprehensive learner induction
  • Support the design of new and existing programmes
  • Review and develop learning resources for your programmes
  • Deliver theory and practical training at college sites or via blended modes
  • Conduct learner workplace visits for observations, assessments, and progress reviews
  • Track and monitor the progress of main programmes on relevant systems
  • Coach, advise, and guide learners to develop mindset, qualities, willpower, and positive habits, emphasizing the importance of practice for success in the workplace
  • Challenge learners to exceed expectations and become ambitious in their careers
  • Deliver training aligned with qualification specifications
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with employers and organizations
  • Ensure learners engage with Cognassist for ALS requirements
  • Provide timely, constructive, and evaluative feedback to learners, including softer skills (e.g., time management, organization)
  • Carry out internal quality assurance activities (if qualified)
  • Report on student progress at termly RAG meetings

Skills and Experience

  • Highly motivated professional with industry experience and knowledge
  • Proficient with IT tools (ECDL or equivalent level)

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCSE Grade 4 / C or equivalent Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English
  • Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds craft/advanced craft in relevant subject
