An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Special Educational Needs Team on a fixed term contract. The contract is initially for 7 months but it may be extended based on the school needs. The role will include supporting students in lessons, working alongside the teacher to adapt resources and teaching methods to support students to achieve and make progress. It may also include 1:1 or small group interventions of mentoring focusing on different learning or social needs.
We would welcome applications if you are experienced, or looking to have a change in career (and take up new challenges). The successful candidate will be required to provide learning and care support on a 1:1, small group and in class basis. Good communication and IT skills and a high level of literacy and numeracy are essential to the post.
