We have an exciting opportunity to extend our dynamic and innovative English team and are seeking to appoint a Teacher of English with outstanding potential. Our aim is to help students build confidence to communicate effectively through a nurturing love of reading, to think critically, and to develop into resilient and reflective learners.
This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and imaginative classroom practitioner to join a fantastic team, led by two joint Heads of Faculty. We have developed a KS3 curriculum that revolves around the reading of whole texts which cover a diverse range of writers, characters and topics. KS4 students also have the exciting opportunity to study AQA GCSE Media Studies as an option. Our English team are reflective, forward thinking and collaborative. We aim to deliver engaging and relevant content and explore all opportunities so that our students are EMPOWERED for their life beyond Cantell, with the knowledge and skills to pursue any interests post-16.
