We are looking to appoint an additional Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking business team.

Duties will include a wide range of reception and administrative tasks where no two days are the same.

As a key member of our school office team, you will be the first friendly and welcoming face that our children, parents, staff and visitors see.

We are looking for someone who can provide a warm, professional and efficient service while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our busy school office.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a sound understanding of administration and practical experience of administrative processes.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills and is confident communicating with a wide range of people.
  • Is warm, welcoming and professional when dealing with children, parents, colleagues and visitors, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
  • Has excellent organisational and IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Is able to manage competing and conflicting priorities, work under pressure and use their own initiative.
  • Can work effectively in an environment where interruptions and unexpected situations are part of everyday life.
  • Is able to maintain a high level of accuracy and concentration when completing detailed work.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality within a school environment.
  • Is a reliable and positive team player with a flexible approach to their work.
  • Holds a First Aid qualification, or is willing to undertake training.
  • Has experience of using SIMS and Tucasi, or is willing to learn.
  • Understands and respects the importance of maintaining confidentiality at all times.
