Ludlow Junior School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide class cover across Key Stage 2 and contribute positively to school life. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality whole‑class learning, support pupil progress and wellbeing, and contribute to enrichment activities across the school.

The Role

  • Deliver whole‑class teaching across KS2
  • Adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Support assessment and pupil progress
  • Contribute to after‑school clubs and educational visits

Sports Specialism

We are particularly interested in applicants with a sports or PE specialism, including experience of leading PE lessons, sports clubs or competitions. A passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles would be highly valued.

About You

  • Experience of whole‑class teaching or PPA cover in a primary setting
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and teamwork
  • HLTA status is desirable, but experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply.
