Cantell School is proud to be a heavily oversubscribed, inclusive comprehensive school with a student intake that reflects a wonderfully diverse and vibrant local community. We are looking to appoint additional exam invigilators to join our current team, to supervise students taking exams throughout the school year and especially during our busiest periods of November, February and April to June.

We are looking for individuals who will promote a supportive atmosphere for our students so they can achieve their best. Candidates should be self‑motivated, responsible individuals with good communication skills who have the ability to work within strict timescales.

You will be required to assist with:

  • Setting up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment and examination papers
  • Supervising students taking exams in accordance with instructions
  • Checking attendance
  • Assisting with the completion of exam paperwork

Previous experience would be preferred, however full training will be provided. Working hours will be variable depending on examination requirements, however further details regarding the invigilation schedule will be discussed with the successful candidate.

The school is committed to safeguarding children and all applicants are subject to an enhanced DBS check. Although applications will be processed as they arrive, an earlier closing date may be made before this if a successful candidate is found.
