HOUSING LAWYER POST
A Lawyer post have been created to support Southampton City Council’s Residential Services Directorate to enable the Council to meet the growing demand for housing services, regeneration and other new initiatives.
The Council has a fully flexible working system that includes home/hybrid working (some office-based meeting attendance required), with adaptable working hours subject to meeting our clients’ needs. The current salary range is up to £55,648 (pay award pending) plus benefits which include:
- Flexi Time Scheme (up to 13 additional days leave)
- 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising to 34 depending on grade and service)
- Generous Local Government Pension scheme
- Employee benefits including retailer discounts, gym and lifestyle memberships, online discount and salary sacrifice schemes for cycle / car / larger purchases.
We want you to join our dynamic and growing team dealing with high profile and challenging cases, covering all aspects of housing law including possession actions, anti-social behaviour matters, defending disrepair claims, homelessness, unlawful encampments, succession and assignment and regeneration projects and supporting the Council\’s priority that people in Southampton live safe, healthy, independent lives.
