We are looking for confident, reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as School Crossing Patrol Officers.

You will supervise the safe passage of school children and other pedestrians who are accompanying them, in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulations 1981.

About the role:

As part of your role you will be responsible for deciding when it is safe to stop traffic, using the crossing patrol sign, to give clear signals to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.

It is essential for you to have a knowledge of Road Safety and to possess good communication skills. At times, you may be required to liaise with the school and the police to assist in reporting accidents and other incidents at the crossing site.

In addition, you will also be provided with all equipment and uniform required to carry out the role.
