We are looking for Loaders to join the Waste and Recycling Team in a busy frontline operation. We are looking for operatives that have the ability to multi-task, prioritise their own workload and deal with events on a reactive basis as necessary. Experience working within the Waste and Recycling sector would be an advantage but not essential. You will be working outside in all weather conditions. The successful candidate must be able to work responsibly, safely and in a timely manner.
Duties will include:
- Working as part of a team on a refuse collection round collecting a mixture of different refuse types e.g. domestic, trade or recycling waste or glass collections, so flexibility is crucial.
- Providing residents with high quality, value for money street cleansing and waste collection services.
- Maintaining customer focus by providing a high standard of customer care both within the Council and for the public and external bodies.

Working Hours: 06:00 – 15:36, 40.5 hours per week - with an unpaid 1hr lunch break.
Salary: The salary band for this role is £26,402 to £28,207. The starting salary is £26,402 with annual progression through the salary bands.
